Fireside
Fireside was a special concert event hosted through my organization Girls & Guitars whose goal is to create paid performance opportunities for women singer-songwriter guitarists, and build up a creative community for them to thrive. On the night of this event, which took place towards the end of last summer, we featured 4 talented artists in an outdoor concert under-the-stars style setting.
THE VISION
I wanted to capture the charm and whimsy of summer fireflies and the embers of campfire, leaning into a rustic forest theme. The show featured live music, a s'mores bar, picnic style food, and a mobile bar. This event took place at a multipurpose event space in Atlanta called the Marclee Studios owned by a fellow creative. I led the design concept, creating the logo and marketing assets. We collaborated on logistics throughout the planning stage of this innovative showcase of acoustic soul talent.

Fireflies | Campfire Rustic | End of summer
Live Music | S'Mores Bar | Cocktails & Mocktails
Through the Fireside concert, we wanted this intimate audience to feel engulfed in a cozy campfire inspired experience with all the feels of summer's end, and it's glowing embers, This was truly a listening room style experience where they we're locked into every note and word the artists presented. We dreamed big then scaled back to honor the budget, but were able to create a special warm experience for our attendees.
In addition to design and marketing, I managed most of the production elements of this event. This included booking talent, setting up and managing ticketing, and coordinating our drink vendor, as well as collaborating with the venue owner on food and sound. The venue owner, who is also an interior decorator, pulled together a delightful stage set, and decked out the space on theme. We both rallied together a handful of volunteers to assist with day of event tasks from door greeters to set-up staff and people to manage our food station. We had 40 people in attendance with a space capacity of 50.
