Founded in 2016, Girls & Guitars is a creative community and performance platform I built from concept to scale to spotlight women guitarists. Starting as curated live showcases featuring diverse lineups of singer-songwriters, the platform has grown into a multi-state movement—producing 50+ live and virtual events across 35+ venues with consistent 85–100% capacity.
Birth of a Movement
Over the past decade, I’ve directed all creative, operational, and fiscal strategy, managing talent contracts for 120+ artists, driving sponsor partnerships, and producing community workshops.
Today, the initiative continues to expand with the soon-to-be-launched Guitar Garden Sessions podcast and Guitar Garden, an accessible youth educational initiative designed to mentor and equip the next generation of young girl guitarists regardless of socioeconomic background.
Girls & Guitars | Fireside Project
Fireside was designed as an intimate, campfire-inspired listening room, capturing the cozy, glowing ambiance of late summer. While balancing ambitious creative concepts with budget parameters, we delivered a deeply immersive experience where the audience was locked into every note. Beyond design and marketing, I spearheaded end-to-end event production, managing talent booking, ticketing, vendor logistics, and volunteer coordination. Collaborating closely with the venue owner on custom stage decor and sound, we successfully hosted a near-sold-out crowd, creating a warm, unforgettable night.
Guitar Garden
Guitar Garden is the little sister of Girls & Guitars, created to empower aspiring and growing girl guitarists ages 8-18 through innovative, well rounded, supportive learning experiences that help them find their unique voice and flourish within music and beyond
Our Wildflower Approach centers around innovative guitar learning with the visual learner in mind. Through creatively driven workshops, we cover everything from guitar basics to advanced guitar, songwriting, the art of music business, and artist development for today's music creative.
